IT’S NICE TO MEET YOU
photographer & adventurer
Thank you for being here. I’m Mary, and here is a little bit of my story.
Without knowing, it all began during my early traveling years. Where I photographed what I could because I believed that I would never visit the place again... possibly true, at least that is what I told myself. I then took that same approach to life. I married, had kids and found myself documenting what I could... simply just not wanting to forget. After assessing the possibilities... wedding photography presented itself unexpectedly, just like that... it literally took a life of its own, and I fell in love with it. Now, I am here, grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way, none taken for granted, and I am so thankful that my journey continues to evolve in a way that just makes perfect sense to me.
I often get asked... what is it that inspires my work? Aside from being a hopeless romantic, my inspiration simply comes from my couple's emotions, expressions, tapping into their personalities, and combining all of it with gorgeous natural luminous light... which if you haven't noticed yet, it makes everything that much more beautiful.
During my free time I enjoy spending it with my little adventurous family just being out and about doing what their little hearts desire. I enjoy my weekly date nights with the hubby, especially if it involves breakfast, cappuccinos, pizza or wine, which of-coarse, it always naturally does ~wink. To unwind from the day I enjoy watching anything from Vogue’s YouTube episodes, to Pride & Prejudice ~or The Notebook for the millionth time, do some online shopping or just watch a good Netflix show with the hubby. Oh, and I can't forget about those spare of the moment Target getaways, right ladies?!
Before I let you go, I do want to emphasize how important it is for me that my couples have an amazing experience. I want all my couples to enjoy their journey and time with me not only as their photographer but as guide through it all. So, I’ll start by thanking you for being here and considering me for your special day. I really enjoyed sharing a little bit about me, and I can’t wait to hear a little about you!

Travel
Very grateful that I've had the opportunity to watch the sunrise from the top of Mt. Fuji, surfing the waves in Bali, spending my birthday in Cinque Terre, just to share a few. And, now I dream of one day photographing a beautiful intimate wedding overseeing the Amalfi Coast.

Simple Details
My latest project is tidying and redecorating my home. I live by the notion that everything around me should have a purpose. Can you believe that I actually reached out to KonMari before she became famous back in 2012 for advice! She never replied, lol!

Coffee & Wine
A long time dream of mine has been of one day owning an open air -Napa Valley style taps bar, serving global coffee & wine. Luckily my husband is from Spain, so for now I'm okay with bringing home some of their local coffee and wine with me every year.

Kindness & Serving
Every year I pick a community, a non-profit, or just anyone that helps our world be a better place to donate my time and my services to. Last year I worked with A Queen or Hero For A Day Foundation whose motive is to bring some happiness to children with cancer with the motive that the power of happiness heals. It was an amazing experience.

The Beach
The best thing that has happened to me since becoming a Mommy is living life through my kids. They see the beauty and fun in everything, and my best moments have been at the beach letting loose with no worries and all smiles!
My happy place is at some beach with my family.

THE REASON WHY
I do what I do
I do this for my couples for the same reason I do it for myself… to preserve those special moments and hold onto those memories a little longer. Because I believe in the magic of photography and its power to take us back and make us feel.
And, because I have been given this amazing opportunity to connect with my couples and tell their love story through my very own eyes. I enjoy finding unique and beautiful ways to tell their story, and work endlessly to find and create it. At the end of our journey it is rewarding to know that we created a friendship bond, and they know I will always be there for them.
